Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific has awarded a $49 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architect-engineering contract to ʻAiea-based small business Element Environmental LLC.

Work is expected to be completed by May 2028. 

According to a Department of Defense news release, the contract provides for architect-engineering services for environmental investigations, permit applications and related studies at various Navy and Marine Corps activities. Work will take place primarily within the NAVFAC Pacific area of operations, which include, but are not limited to, Hawai‘i (60 percent), Japan (25 percent), Guam (10 percent) and other NAVFAC command locations worldwide (5 percent). 

Task orders are not currently being issued. Fiscal Year 2023 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated at the time of award and expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operation and maintenance (Navy) funds.
