Constructing a Brighter Future
Hawaiʻi’s Top Projects of 2024 deliver excellence and uplift Maui

Every year, Hawai‘i’s Top Projects dazzle us with their scope, scale and technical brilliance.

This year, they also humble us with their kōkua.

Emergency Facilities, a new Building Industry Hawaii Top Projects category, honors the general contractors that delivered critical housing and a temporary elementary school to West Maui residents following the 2023 wildfires in Lāhainā.

These emergency projects were all completed in record time, and one — Kapalua Village Emergency Housing — brings a new type of spacious, pre-manufactured, modular home to Hawai‘i for the first time.

They join Top Projects in other sectors that were completed or are underway as of Dec. 31. Together they demonstrate the highest levels of construction performance and community service by Hawai‘i contractors in 2024.

Congratulations to all our winning contractors, and mahalo for your outstanding vision and devotion to the people of Hawai‘i.
