BIA Hawaii welcomes new Board of Directors for 2026

The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA Hawaii) announced its leadership for 2026, with Kamuela Potter leading the organization as 2026 president. The remaining officers are as follows: President-elect Lili Shintani, Vice President Lukas Petersons, Secretary Kevin Murray and Treasurer Paul Silen.

“BIA Hawaii is honored to have these distinguished leaders serving on our board and championing the interests of Hawai‘i’s building industry,” said Roseann Freitas, BIA Hawaii CEO, in a press release. “Their combined experience and commitment to excellence will help steer our association in the year ahead, strengthening the solid foundation that has sustained our organization for the past 71 years.”

The board was installed at a Dec. 4 luncheon at Halekulani, featuring Kumu Hula Vicky Holt Takamine, National Association of Home Builders First Vice Chairman of the Board Bill Owens, Lindsey Gerber and Kumu Hula Jeff Kanekaiwilani Takamine. Trade Media Hui Publisher Amanda Canada emceed the event.
