The American Council of Engineering Companies of Hawaii recently announced its new board of directors, who assumed their new positions in July.

Orion Engineers & Associates’ Shannon Holman was named president of the local chapter of the national organization, with Nimr Tamimi of Engineering Partners Inc. named national director.

Other newly named board members for the 2024-2025 fiscal year include Treasurer Kealohi Sandefur of Yogi Kwong Engineers LLC and Secretary Timothy Goshi of KAI Hawaii Inc.

In addition, George Takase (Ronald N.S. Ho & Associates), Dayna Nemoto-Shima (Pacific Geotechnical Engineers Inc.) and Simone Simbeck (Haley & Aldrich Inc.) were all named directors at ACECH.
