The Rosendin Foundation recently awarded the Domestic Violence Action Center a $15,000 grant, along with $10,000 for the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawai‘i. The Rosendin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the charitable arm of Rosendin Holdings, the parent company of design-build electrical contractor Rosendin.

“The Rosendin Foundation continues to stand by its commitment to support community initiatives and organizations that resonate with our mission to positively impact communities, build and empower people, and inspire innovation,” said Jolsna Thomas, Rosendin Foundation president, in a press release announcing the grants. “Our unwavering dedication to our community’s well-being is a source of great pride, and we are delighted to have the privilege of supporting non-profit organizations throughout the United States that work tirelessly to create meaningful change every day.”

The Rosendin Foundation has awarded over $1.87 million to nonprofit organizations since its establishment in 2020. The foundation is dedicated to giving assistance to community nonprofits in Hawai‘i and in cities across the nation where Rosendin employees live and work.

DVAC provides services, including legal aid, housing, advocacy and education, with goals of addressing issues of domestic violence and other forms of harm.

HMHBCH works to improve access to care for mothers and children before, during and after pregnancy.
