Ferris Mowers and Michelin North America recently announced the airless Michelin X Tweel Turf 26-inch tire is now an option for Ferris Mowers’ new ISX 3300 lawnmower.
According to a press release, the Michelin X Tweel Turf tire 26x12x12 XL (5×4.5-inch PCD and -2.2 inch offset) can be used to replace the standard 26x12x12 tire on an existing mower. Michelin’s airless Tweel tires eliminate downtime due to flats and unseated beads, and they help maintain a level deck without the need to adjust air pressure.
Easy to mount, once bolted on there is no air pressure to maintain. The unique energy transfer within their poly-resin spokes help reduce the “bounce” associated with pneumatic tires, while providing outstanding handling characteristics on a broad range of surfaces.
