Locally owned Servpac Inc. has just completed a significant expansion project, doubling colocation capacity at its MTP Data Center in Mililani Technology Park. The multi-million-dollar project commenced in June of last year.

“With this recent investment, we have ensured that our clients’ operations are never impacted,” says Richard Zheng, president and founder of Servpac. “By doubling our capacity, our customers can access their information faster and more securely in this best-in-class data center right in our own backyard.”

With 100 percent of its leadership living on O‘ahu, Servpac is committed to supporting other  Hawai‘i-based organizations. InForm Design served as the project architect, while engineering consulting was provided by InSynergy Engineering. Standard Sheetmetal & Mechanical was the air-conditioning subcontractor, while JB Construction was responsible for the electrical work.

Servpac will begin developing Phase 2 of the MTP Data Center in the coming months and will build on the property’s additional 150,000 square feet of company-owned land, allowing Servpac to expand cabinet- and power-capacity tenfold.
