Hawthorne CAT on June 30 introduced its latest generation of mini earth movers to Hawaiʻi island contractors, demonstrating their capacity to move the ground in tight spaces.
Experts from the company were on hand for a “lunch-and-learn” event to showcase the capabilities of Hawthorne CAT’s Next Generation Cat Mini Hydraulic Excavators, including their Ease of Use E-Fence and Indicate functions, which allow operators of all experience levels to work efficiently and consistently.
Event co-sponsor SITECH Hawaiʻi also demonstrated the capabilities of the WingtraOne Gen II survey drone.
Free lunch, free CAT sunglasses and other giveaways were provided during the event at the Hilo Branch. Hawthorne CAT offered special pricing for all mini excavators during the event.
A few days earlier, SITECH hosted its own Drone Technology Demo Day at its offices in Waipahu. Drone pilots demonstrated the WingtraOne GEN II’s surveying capabilities, showed attendees how to maximize drone uptime to boost productivity and explained how the drone can help provide businesses with consistent results.
