U.S. Air Force Awards $18M contract to Koa Lani JV
According to the U.S. Department of Defense, the contract provides for Air Combat Command satellite communications relay support for the USAF’s Squadron Operations Center-Enterprise program.

Koa Lani JV LLC, a foreign limited liability company established in Hawaiʻi with a principal business address in Orlando, Florida, was awarded a $18,433,614 firm-fixed-price task order by the U.S. Air Force on July 11.

According to the U.S. Department of Defense, the contract provides for Air Combat Command satellite communications relay support for the USAF’s Squadron Operations Center-Enterprise program, including sustainment of remotely piloted aircraft squadron operations centers mission systems; operations and maintenance of equipment; design and development; and installation of systems support of combat lines.

Work will be performed at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and is expected to be completed by July 2029.

According to a report by industry website GovConWire, Koa Lani JV in 2020 won a potential 10-year, $854 million operations support contract to help the U.S. Navy manage the Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands on Kauaʻi.
