Atlas Insurance Agency, Hawai‘i’s largest locally based insurance agency, has announced the acquisition of Honolulu-based Insurance Factors, effective Nov. 1.

Insurance Factors is now known as Insurance Factors, an Atlas Insurance Agency Company. The new partnership brings together two long-established players in Hawai‘i’s insurance landscape known for their dedication to serving local businesses.

“Insurance Factors is an established, local insurance agency with over 90 years of serving and supporting Hawai‘i,” said Atlas Insurance President Chason Ishii in a news release. “Specializing in commercial insurance, they bring strong relationships with carriers locally, nationally and internationally, and their relationship-based approach to insurance is a natural fit with our values at Atlas Insurance.

“I welcome Insurance Factors to the Atlas Insurance Ohana and look forward to working with Mr. Vinet and his team to enhance the support we provide to our local business community.”

Through the new partnership, Atlas Insurance will grow its client portfolio and broaden its service offerings. All 25 members of Insurance Factors’ leadership, production and support teams will join Atlas, with company operations remaining at their current location in the Topa Financial Center.
