Castle & Cooke Hawai‘i announces new hires, promotion
Kip Asato, Kiana Chong and Trevor Watanabe

Kip Asato is now project engineer for residential site development at Castle & Cooke Hawai‘i. In his new role, Asato will be responsible for planning, design and construction of onsite and offsite infrastructure at Koa Ridge. Asato, who has seven years of previous experience in civil site design and contract management, was previously with The Limtiaco Consulting Group.

Kiana Chong joins the company’s human resources department and will be responsible for assisting in the administration of company procedures, policies and compliance requirements for employees. Chong has over 13 years of experience, specializing in recruitment, onboarding and training.

Trevor Watanabe is a land agent at Castle & Cooke, where he will oversee daily activities and periodic inspection of company-owned lands. Watanabe holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
